Nova Gallery and Frame-store /Pasadena, Ca.
This grassroots, art gallery in Pasadena, Ca. has started a movement of featuring local and young talents. These spec mailers are for members and fans to keep up with news and their exhibitions.
For this particular piece, the exhibiting artist has combines colorful photography and geometric prints. Instead of showcasing one the whole artist photo, I created little "portals" in similar geometric shapes to preview the work. This would invite interest, while not revealing the entirety of the artist's work. Using colors that worked with the artist's pieces and keeping all informational graphics neutral, prevented distraction from the art.
